World Tennis Masters Tour

Updated 2026-11-05

The ITF World Tennis Masters Tour is the seniors circuit, now under the World Tennis name. It offers age categories from 30+ through 90+. It is not the ATP Masters 1000, and it is not the browser game.

The browser game uses the same name for arcade tennis.

Two renames stack. The circuit became the World Tennis Masters Tour in August 2022. It had been the ITF Seniors Tour. The governing body itself became World Tennis in June 2026, and itftennis.com now sends people to world.tennis. I keep the old ITF words in the title because that is what the search still types.

Play is offered in five-year age bands, from 30+ through 90+, in singles, doubles and mixed, for individuals and teams. The grade ladder on the encyclopedia page runs MT100, MT200, MT400, MT700, MT1000, then World Championships. MT700, MT1000 and the World Championships are the elite end. The current official page has inconsistent participation counts: its introduction says over 580 tournaments, while its counter shows 552 tournaments and 69 host nations. These are one publisher’s figures, recorded separately rather than merged.

The World Championships are the highest-level tour competition. The current official page describes team and individual competition across categories from 30+ through 90+. Different age groups can have different championship weeks and venues, so use the organiser’s calendar for the specific age category rather than treating all Masters championships as one event.

The official tour page links directly to World Tennis Tour Zone registration, rankings, the calendar and results. It says registration is free, while entered tournaments charge their own fees; no universal entry price is published here. National associations can help players understand eligibility and team selection. An international ranking is not required simply to register.
