Privacy
This page lists every third party this site actually loads, the cookies and storage keys involved, how long they last, and how to withdraw. Use Cookie settings in the footer to change your choice.
Controller: the editor of tennismasters.org, reachable at [email protected].
Default loading and how to withdraw. Google Analytics 4 (www.googletagmanager.com and www.google-analytics.com), Microsoft Clarity (www.clarity.ms, scripts.clarity.ms and collection subdomains of clarity.ms) and Adsterra (bicea.org plus creative hosts) load by default on the first page view of this site. You do not have to press Accept for them to run: the banner is notice and withdrawal, not a gate. Pressing Reject stops those scripts, records your rejection for 180 days, and they stay off on later visits in this browser. The three Google advertising storage signals start denied, while analytics storage starts granted. The footer link Cookie settings reopens the banner so you can change your mind. Global Privacy Control is treated as a rejection.
Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-7HWV1S6L4Q). GA4 uses the cookies _ga and _ga_7HWV1S6L4Q, both kept for up to 2 years, to count page views and distinguish repeat visits. It receives the page URL, referrer, a coarse location derived from the request, device and browser details, and interaction events. We use it only in aggregate; we do not build profiles or join it to your email. Use Reject to turn collection from this site off. Google’s policy is at policies.google.com/privacy.
Microsoft Clarity (project z8qm33a3nx). Clarity uses pseudonymous identifiers to produce heatmaps and session replays so we can see which parts of a page are used. It sets the cookies _clck and _clsk plus the identifiers CLID and MUID; Cookie purposes and changing retention periods are listed in the Clarity documentation linked below. Clarity applies its configured masking rules to recordings. Recordings and heatmaps follow Clarity’s retention settings and documentation. Reject calls Clarity’s consent API and reloads the page with the tag disabled. Microsoft’s policy is at privacy.microsoft.com/privacystatement.
Adsterra (publisher 3403020, website 6176858). Two page-friendly units load: Native Banner unit 32102141 and Social Bar unit 32102142. Both scripts come from bicea.org; adult ads are switched off at the website level. Adsterra and the advertisers whose creatives it serves may set cookies and similar identifiers on bicea.org and on the creative’s own domain to cap frequency, measure a view and prevent fraud. The exact cookie names are chosen by Adsterra and can change, so we do not pretend to list a fixed set; its policy is at adsterra.com/privacy-policy. The default-on setting is an implementation choice; it is not an affirmative consent action. Reject withdraws collection from this site. The Social Bar is a small fixed strip; if you close it, that choice is stored locally for 180 days and the strip is not requested again.
GameDistribution (html5.gamedistribution.com). Pressing play on the game creates a GameDistribution frame. GameDistribution can set its own cookies and can serve ads inside that frame; we do not control those cookies and do not receive them. Its policy is at gamedistribution.com/privacy-policy. The frame is created only after a play click.
Storage keys we set ourselves. tm_consent in local storage holds the choice (accepted or rejected) and an expiry; we keep it for 180 days. tm_socialbar_closed holds the time you closed the Adsterra Social Bar and an expiry; we keep it for 180 days. Both are first-party preferences and can be deleted in your browser. Reject writes a rejection record; it does not erase the preference key. Legal basis for the keys: your choice, and a legitimate interest in not asking on every page view during those 180 days.
Personalised advertising. You can opt out of Google’s ad personalisation at adssettings.google.com, and of many other networks at optout.aboutads.info or youronlinechoices.eu. Reject on this site stops Adsterra and GA4 from this site; it does not remove cookies that other sites have already set.
Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track. If the browser sets navigator.globalPrivacyControl, we record a rejection and keep analytics and advertising storage denied. A Do Not Track header is treated as a wish we can see only when the browser exposes it the same way; GPC is the signal we act on.
Your rights. You can ask for a copy of the email you sent us, ask us to delete that correspondence, and object to how we use it. Email the contact address. We reply from that mailbox. You can also complain to a supervisory authority where you live. Because GA4, Clarity and Adsterra are third parties, requests about their own records go to them as well; we will help identify the relevant controller.
Retention. Site mail is kept as long as we need it to handle the correction, then deleted. tm_consent and tm_socialbar_closed expire after 180 days. GA4 and Clarity follow their vendor policies and configured retention periods; Adsterra follows its own policy. Server logs, if the host keeps them, follow the host’s own period; we do not run a separate tracker.
Changes. When this list changes, we update the date on this page. The footer link is the current version. /privacy-policy/, /cookie-policy/ and /cookies/ all lead here.
Questions
Do analytics and ads wait for me to press Accept?
No. Google Analytics 4, Clarity and Adsterra load on the first page view. The banner is notice and withdrawal; press Reject and they stop for 180 days.
How do I withdraw?
Use Cookie settings in the footer and choose Reject, or delete the tm_consent and tm_socialbar_closed keys in your browser.
Does the Social Bar come back after I close it?
No. Closing it stores tm_socialbar_closed for 180 days, so the strip is not requested again in that browser until the key expires or you clear it.
